THINKER. DESIGNER. INNOVATOR. RALLY-ER.
I've worked at small digital shops, big ad agencies, and everywhere in-between. I was Creative Director for R/GA Chicago and helped open the doors of R/GA Portland. These days, I enjoy playing the role of UX Design Director on Nike's super secret NXT innovation team—partnering with Nike Product Innovation, Advanced Design and Manufacturing teams to identify and design new tools and experiences that enable and accelerate innovative product creation.

MOTOR CITY BORN. PORTLAND BASED.
I spent the first half of my life in a utopian suburb that would make Tim Burton proud.  I graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Art and Design with a duel degree in graphic design and industrial design. After a few years applying my traditional design degree at a non-traditional design shop in Ann Arbor, I moved to Chicago and worked "Big Agency" for 10+ years. I now explore the PNW with Portland as home base. I love cooking, running, making stuff with my hands (anything, really), and sports—I dream of the days Portland gets MLB and NHL teams.
