MOTOR CITY BORN. PORTLAND BASED.
I spent the first half of my life in a utopian suburb that would make Tim Burton proud. I graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Art and Design with graphic design and industrial design concentrations. After a few years applying my traditional design degree at a non-traditional design shop, I moved to Chicago and worked "Big Agency" for 10+ years. I now explore the PNW with Portland as home base. I love cooking, running, making stuff (anything, really), and sports—I dream of the days Portland gets MLB and NHL teams.
THINKER. DESIGNER. RALLY-ER.
I've worked at small digital shops, big ad agencies, and along side clients where it felt I was in-house. I was Creative Director for R/GA Chicago and helped open the doors of R/GA Portland. These days, I enjoy playing the role of UX Design Director within Nike's NXT Digital Innovation group.
